Old Media and the Impasse?

Political impasse? Do they already have their pre-candidate (or candidate) and not reveal it directly? It's always been like that. The issue is that this time the context is completely different. Who still follows the old media? NO ONE. People only read to see what they are "trying to poison" the population that they still consider to have no social or political awareness.

Today's Brazil is no longer the Brazil of 2022. The year is 2026. When the current system that dominates Colombia falls, will the next one automatically be the Federative Republic of Brazil? This is whispered behind the scenes in Brasília. That's the reality. This is a fact, and there are no arguments against facts. Is it really true that desperation has set in and they are "breaking the public coffers" in the name of yet another reelection?

What does an impasse really mean? The term impasse defines a difficult and complex situation for which there is no obvious way out or an immediate solution. Generally, it indicates a point of stalemate where two or more parties are unable to reach an agreement. And what would be the impasse of the "traditional old media"?

The torment is like hitting the nail one minute and hitting the horseshoe the next. Isn't there a popular saying? In other words, what would it actually be? Is the impasse between staying on good terms with the next ruler or trying, before knowing who will be elected, to pay or settle all debts? Aren't paying and settling the same thing? There are some differences. Reliable sources say that the problem with the so-called mainstream press and old media is with the banks. So what is more convenient? To side with whoever is still in power or simply to have the prospect of power?

A dilemma that is not easy, and usually only the courageous and audacious make the right decision. So, while everything is not defined, what is best? To wage vendettas? What exactly is a vendetta? The word vendetta means revenge or retaliation. The term, of Italian origin, is frequently associated with long-term feuds or intense enmities—such as wars between clans or criminal organizations—where acts of hostility are prolonged by successive retaliations.

In short, what exactly is this, young man? Mere revenge for still remembering the "lean times"? Was there a certain major newspaper, which nobody reads anymore and is desperate because it has already sold everything it had (radio and TV stations) and is migrating "like crazy" to digital, which is nothing but attacks on the main opposition pre-candidate every other day? Anyone in the know immediately notices.

The old media, despite the impasse, has already chosen its political side and insists on not declaring it openly so that those who are not in the advertising or journalistic field know. But everyone has already noticed this. And the people too. Gone are the days when people didn't get adequate information. Just one simple fact shows how the rumors are not just "rumors." The two largest portals in Brazil, based in Brasília but with national reach, have already surpassed the entire "fanciful circulation" of the old media.

This is the reality, and the more they mask it, the worse it will be, because the continuous loss of credibility begins.Days of Lucidity? Old media and the impasse? But are there any days of lucidity? Many believe that "foreign money is irrigating" the process and not national money. Is it really true that only international forces will be able to subvert the current established order? Something magnificent about Americans is their capacity for action. Many believe—or spread the idea—that Americans believe only and solely in money. A grave mistake.

The prospects of power are worth more than merely "the remnants of power."
